THE ANGEL
The Angel has always been an Inn, the earliest record of it is listed as 'well established in 1153' but the current 'new build' dates from 1678, when it was renamed 'The Angel' from it's former name.
It's current custodians took over in September 2009 and have build an enviable reputation as Woodbridge's only fully independent free house, serving a good selection of Craft & Real Ales, as well as the widest selection of gins served in East Anglia.

We are delighted to launch 'Art at The Angel' showcasing local artists and photographers.
We levy no commission or fees, so pop in and have a look at what's currently showing.

GIN TASTINGS
As 'the home of gin' in East Anglia, we would be delighted to host a private tasting for your and your friends.

We make this as simple as possible; our charge is £5 per head and ask you to pay for the drinks you have at £5 per gin (including mixers).
To make sure a member of the team is available, we recommend booking in advance - please use the form opposite, and we will get in touch with you.
